How It Works?
VectorArtStudio.com specializes in restoring unusable
images such as jpegs, bitmaps, tiffs, scans, etc. and converting them
into outlined vector graphics for use in the Promotional Products Industry.
To take advantage of our services you will first need to sign-up for
an account here.
Once you have signed into the site, you can then proceed with creating
a new job under "Services". Our artists will then transform your original
files into vector art with any changes to PMS color matching, sizing,
or typesetting you requested. The art will be promptly completed within
the time frame you chose during the job creation process. Once completed,
you will receive an email informing you that your vector art file(s)
are ready for pick-up. Simply log back into the site to retrieve your
completed art.
When you are logged in, a history log with information pertaining to
every order placed will be contained within the website. In essence,
VectorArtStudio.com will be your "virtual file cabinet" to store information
and art files for ALL your orders. You can check back anytime to download
finished vector art or see a log of all orders processed to date.

Q: There are so many different jobs to
choose from. Which one is right for my order?
A: Choose the job type that best matches
your original art file. If in doubt, you can always email the art file
to us at art@vectorartstudio.com
and one of our artists will respond immediately to your inquiry.

: I need to make changes to my original Job Order. How do I do this?
A : Simply log
into the website and under the "Job Manager" category select
"Job Correction Request". Select the job order and type in
the corrections/changes you want done to your job and one of our artists
will make the necessary adjustments.

: Why is my completed vector art file zipped?
A : We do this
in order to reduced the time it takes for those of our customers who
are using 56k internet access. The reduced size also allows us to store
more files on our servers before we put them into archives.

How do I "unzip" my completed art files?
A : If your computer
doesn’t already contain software to uncompress zip files, you
can download a free copy at winzip.com
Q
: Why is my order on hold?
A : Usually an
order is put on hold when there is a discrepancy between the job order
selected and the actual job that needs to be performed. If this is the
reason, you will receive an email explaining the discrepancy and the
way to remedy this. Others times it is because the instructions given
with the order need further clarification before our artists can proceed.
You will be promptly contacted if this is the case and the order will
be placed back into processing immediately after the situation is resolved.
Q :
I receive emails from order@vectorartstudio.com, but when I reply to
the message why doesn't anyone respond?
A : Emails from order@vectorartstudio.com
are automatically generated by the system and sent out when one of our
artists makes "notes" regarding the job's order status. When
notes are generated it usually means that there is some discrepency
with the order or that further clarification is needed. The best way
to respond to the message is to log into your account at VectorArtStudio.com
and click onto your job/PO no. listed under the "Recent Orders"
category. At the top right of the order details page there will be a
flashing green Notes button. Click onto
"Create/View Notes" to respond and/or see a listing of all
previous notes written for this job. By
using this online method of communication, ALL notes for the job will
be saved and can be reviewed any time thus eliminating the problems
of lost/misplaced emails or email delays and errors.
